Tohoku Culture Day is an initiative to encourage people to visit various museums, art museums, etc. around Tohoku (Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata, and Fukushima Prefectures). There is a guidebook listing 180 participating venues that will be offering free or discounted admission, special presents, or holding special events.
