Niogataki Waterfall Ice Festival (map)
The 33m waterfall has frozen over in the winter since the olden days. The size and shape of the frozen falls is said to reflect whether the year's harvest will be rich or poor.

During the festival Shinto prayers and ritual divinations, etc. will be performed. There will also be live performances.

*Depending on weather conditions, the falls might not be frozen, so please check/inquire ahead of time if necessary.*
